Dear Spiritual Family,

Bless you. It is always a gift to think of you as we sit and ask Spirit, “What would be helpful for us to share with you, our precious friends?”

Invariably, what comes in prayer and quiet reflection is something that helps with whatever we are dealing with. In this video message, the focus is: what is “positionality,” and how does our attachment to particular positions, more often than not, deplete us of our spiritual power?

The differentiation is made between being stuck in a position and in having a “gentle preference” for a certain outcome. When we are clear on our values, such as love and compassion, understanding and light, kindness and happiness, we tend to create experiences that are in coherence with them.

Each of us on the spiritual path has the innate desire to be more of the light that Jesus called us to. And we are given myriad opportunities to extend that light to others in our prayers and in our daily encounters with family and friends, and even strangers.

Each time we, in earnest, decree for ourselves and others, the reality of this light, we move up the scale of consciousness so clearly described in the works of Dr. David Hawkins.

In his The Evolution of Consciousness, we read: “Love is really the dawning of the Presence of God within human consciousness in the nonlinear domain. That which you are has a more profound effect on everything than that which you do.”

We often ask ourselves, particularly when dealing with difficult people or situations, “What am I to do or what is mine to do?” By letting go of our positions, we find ourselves more grounded in our Beingness and thereby gently bring the light that is healing, peaceful, and loving.

Holding you in this light and love,

Rev. Steve and Mary
