Dear Spiritual Family,
Hello Beautiful Beings. We have a favor to ask. Would you be willing to draw yourself a “Love Bath?” You may well answer, “Well, I don’t know. What does that even mean?” Fair enough. Here’s what we have in mind:
- Find a comfortable place to physically be – it may be in an actual bathtub. It may be your favorite chair or a sweet place outdoors.
- Use your imagination to picture yourself in a bathtub that is completely comfortable and appealing to you.
- As you open the faucets, you realize you’re in for a whole new experience as it is, in fact, the pure Essence of Love that is flowing into the tub.
- You feel your Heart open to receive.
- Perhaps your mind is questioning as you pause to wonder where is all this Love coming from. What is it’s Source?
- Images appear of those close to you, who love you and are grateful for all you mean to them. Strangers, too, that you have encountered recently where you extended a helping hand or a smile or an encouraging word.
- You reach for some “special salts” to add to the “bath” – acts of compassion that you have witnessed or have been a part of, memories of times when you felt completely loved, times when you have felt free of bodily concerns, of earthly challenges.
- And now add, God’s Unconditional Love for You. It adds to all the Love already there and fills the space completely.
- You luxuriate in this sacred bath until you feel complete.
In all the rush and rumble that seems to fill so many of all our days, we hope that you will take more time to love yourself just as you are – the precious and beautiful Child of God, our precious and beautiful sisters and brothers.
We love you so,
Rev. Steve and Mary
