Dear Spiritual Family,

Greetings Beautiful Beings!

Most of us are familiar with some version of the Buddhist mantra:

May I be filled with loving-kindness. May I be well.
May I be peaceful and at ease. May I be happy.

We are suggesting that this simple, yet eloquent “prayer” might be experienced in two ways: In the first, we appear to be asking for these conditions. “May I have/be these things, God, the Universe, my Higher Power?” You may want to repeat these “requests” slowly and softly several times and as you do, allow yourself to feel your worthiness to “be” them.

Now, look at this from a higher perspective – that which is seen from our Essence, the Christ, the Holy Child of God That we are. Our Divine Birthright is a perpetual state of loving-kindness, wholeness, peace and ease, and true happiness. In other words, we are asking for that which we already have. And more than asking, we are acknowledging this is our true state. Again, please take time to deeply feel this truth for and from your Self. “I AM filled with loving-kindness. I AM well. I AM peaceful and at ease. I AM happy.”

This timeless mantra is also used as a healing prayer for others:

May you be filled with loving-kindness. May you be well.
May you be peaceful and at ease. May you be happy.

As you speak this prayer to others, you may wish to see them immersed in the divine energies of love, wholeness, peace, and happiness. At one level, it is what you want for them. At the highest, just like you, it is their True State of Being. Let the power of that truth bring you a sense of even greater peace and happiness.

And to come full circle with this gift, let us jointly speak and feel for all:

May we be filled with loving-kindness. May we be well.
May we be peaceful and at ease. May we be happy.

Beautiful Sisters and Brothers, this is our prayer for you and yours – always.

Happy Valentine’s Day to each of you. We love you,

Rev. Steve and Mary
