Dear Spiritual Family,

As our First Light Ministry is reaching our third Anniversary, we are mindful of the foundation we sought to lay at the beginning. Our work is based on the more mystical understanding of The Holy Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The inspiration that came when I, Rev. Steve, sat with this in meditation was that it is really our True Home – “inside” this Divine Triangle. Further that it represents the allegorical Garden of Eden from Genesis where Adam and Eve lived for a short time in a Paradise of abundance and beauty. Their exit from this Heavenly state was prompted by their learning of good and bad, right and wrong. In more universal understanding, it represents the moment mankind thought he was separate from God.

In the video message, I offer the thought that everything outside of our true state of Being (at Home inside the Trinity) is an appearance or what is often referred to in the Eastern teachings as “maya.” It is for most of us, our everyday life that encompasses everything from our bodies to our shelter, our work and families, and the world beyond our doors.

Back to The Holy Trinity – The Father, our Creator Who is Omniscience, Omnipotence and Omnipresence is of course, the Source and the Sustenance of all life.

The Son  is the Christ as modeled for us by Jesus –What did he “example” But Immortality, Forgiveness and Unconditional Love.

The Holy Spirit –  is the giver of Comfort, Guidance, and Right Judgement. Jesus when he had transmuted his body to Light called into our consciousness The Holy Spirit. He said in the Gospels, “I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.”

So, the visual for you to consider is seeing yourself in the center of the Trinity where you can bring “the cares of the world” into that Holy Place where there is great healing, peace and light. As we draw from the One Power, Presence and Knowing of God, as we identify with the Son, the Christ, and as we call on the Holy Spirit to comfort us and others and ask this Voice for God to teach us and to judge for us, our consciousness expands and we feel more deeply and truly the Divine Home we never left.

As we meditate in this Place, as we pray from this Place, as we forgive and Love from this Place we bless our lives and those around us – near and far.

We Love You,

Rev. Steve and Mary
