Dear Spiritual Family,
This video message centers around Rumi’s great wisdom:
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
There is a field. I’ll meet you there.”
When we are anchored in our beliefs of right and wrong, we cannot experience a full life. Joy and peace and love are Gifts of the Divine but our judgments deny us these gifts.
Our Nation and most of the world are in disharmony for this very reason. We are stuck in the mud of righteousness and the only solution is the spiritual path of forgiveness.
Forgiveness that is willing to look on the mistakes of others and our own as well and see past them to the wholeness that we are. A forgiveness that requires us to see with the eyes of Christ. The completion of this quote from Rumi is:
“When the soul lies down in that grass, the world
Is too full to talk about. Ideas, language, even the
Phrase, ‘each other’ doesn’t make any sense.”
It was Albert Einstein who gave us the teaching, “The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them.”
Undoubtedly, we have significant problems in most arenas of today’s life and to rise to a higher state of being, we must make the shift from head to heart, from the intellectualism of “I know what’s right and what’s wrong” to the “field” of unconditional love. Nothing “out there” in the world will do the trick.
And our “cheering section” to move to this sacred place of true healing is none other than our Wayshower, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the likes of Rumi and a thousand other Saints and Masters. All saying, “YES!” All meeting each of us right where we are to move us to our rightful place in the world. Please accept this Gift!
