Happy Thanksgiving Weekend and the start of a Merry Christmas Season.
The title for this video message comes to us from a short, yet very meaningful story about two young sisters, one – eleven months old and the other, two and one-half. We trust you will enjoy the telling.
Mary also shares a story from our recent travels to Texas, one that has special meaning for her and inspires me each time I hear it. She shares too, how her clear guidance to “Stay Present” encourages a certain porousness to events and individuals that deepen her faith in God.
Here is the “prayer” from Lesson 327 in A Course in Miracles that I reference in my sharing: “Father, I thank You that Your promises will never fail in my experience, if I but test them out. Let me attempt therefore to try them and to judge them not. Your Word is one with You. You give the means whereby conviction comes, and surety of Your abiding Love is gained at last.”
The point is made a number of times in our sharing that true and lasting growth in consciousness comes as surely as the dawn follows the night, each time we “prove” God in our daily lives. The “spiritual deck” is stacked on our favor so to speak.
As we “Stay Open, Stay in Love and Stay Grateful,” we are in the perfect mindset to receive the gifts that await us, not only in the Season of Thanksgiving and Christmas but each day throughout the year. Just imagine that there are miracles patiently waiting for you – miracles of healing, of peace and of joy and miracles of love that will nourish you and those close to you and bring rich blessings to our world.
We receive the gift of you, dear friends, and treasure how deeply you teach us of the goodness of the Divine. You encourage our faith in all that is true. We “breathe in” your love and support!
We Love You dearly,
Rev. Steve and Mary
Note regarding video:
Dear Ones, our microphone was acting up a bit during the recording and we had some issues with Mary’s voice cutting in and out. We’ve done what we can to fix it and apologize for any inconvenience.
