Dear Spiritual Family,

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! May the “Luck of the Irish” be with you today and everyday! While we can’t guarantee that “luck,” we are sure of one thing, that God loves you every moment and the more we allow that consciousness of love to fill our hearts and minds the more our lives will be filled with ease and grace.

Our video message for today was recorded in the home of Mary’s sister, Frances, and her husband, Bob, in Punta Gorda, Florida as we complete our time here and prepare to head home. It has been an “interesting” two weeks. Their loving and consistent support in this difficult time was invaluable, and we are beyond grateful.

This week, we continue with our lessons of Letting Go and Making Room for God. The focus today is the conscious release of difficult emotions so the can be “disassembled and let go of in bits and pieces.” “Thus, in an overwhelm, it is alright to push away as much of the emotion as we are capable of in the moment.”

Quoting from The Letting Go Guided Journal: “The emotion can be reduced in intensity by sharing the feeling with close friends or mentors. By merely expressing the feeling, some of the energy behind it is reduced. It is alright in these circumstances to consciously utilize escape mechanisms, such as going out in a social situation, playing with the dog, (we had two adorable dachshunds here to do just that), watching television, going to the movies, etc.” Whenever these intense situations arise, we believe you will find it helpful to mindfully use these kinds of releases.

The second piece of this week’s message is the powerful reminder from Dr. Hawkins: “One of the laws of consciousness is: We are only subject to a negative thought or belief if we consciously say that it applies to us. We are free to choose not to buy into a negative belief system.

“For negativity to apply to our life, we must first subscribe to it, and secondly, give it the energy of belief. If we have the power to make negativity manifest in in our life, obviously our mind has the power to make its converse come true.”

You will hear most of this shared in the video and expanded on there.

Being willing to consciously release difficult, stuck emotions and to consistently realize that the negative thoughts broadcast through a variety of channels, do not apply to us, we will find more balance, more peace and live more of the life that our Creator intends for us.

We love you dearly,

Rev. Steve and Mary
