Royalty

Dear Spiritual Family,

Across the Atlantic Ocean in “Jolly Old England” and throughout the United Kingdom, Queen Elizabeth II is being properly celebrated. The Platinum Jubilee is the 70th Anniversary of a British monarch’s reign and she is the first to reach the milestone. 

Through her seven decades of service, she has weathered many storms with great dignity and consistency. She is a woman whose faith and steadfastness of purpose have been a light for much of the world as well as her family. It’s not an easy role to fill; I’m sure she would agree that there have been missteps along the way.  

But what about us? In Truth, we are all “Royalty.” Each of us are heirs to the Kingdom of God. We don’t live in castles with great halls nor do we have scores of servants or an extraordinary crown, fit for a king or queen. These are things that will, in time, pass away. 

When we were created as spiritual beings, we were endowed with all of the attributes of our Creator – Unconditional Love, Immortality and Holiness to name a few. Though we have forgotten our true inheritance, we are beginning to remember Where we came from and Who we are. When we symbolically assume our spiritual “crown,” we are in the best position to see this world differently – to not take it so seriously but instead, to give it and those closest to us, the Light touch.  

The Queen has her Scepter but we have an “instrument” of everlasting value and unlimited power. We have the growing awareness that we are – all of us – Divine Beings “charged” with ruling over the Kingdom of our Minds with vigilance and a sense of duty and purpose. As we do, we extend true peace and love to our sisters and brothers and hasten the celebration of Heaven on Earth!
