Dear Spiritual Family,

Thank you for taking some time to read these words and to watch and listen to this video message. Our hope continues to be that you find inspiration, peace and love in what we share with you.

Mary opens this video with a piece from A Course in Miracles – “I thank my Father for His gifts to me.”  We read in this Lesson #123:

Today in gratitude we lift our hearts above despair, and raise our thankful eyes, no longer looking downward to the dust. We sing the song of thankfulness today, in honor of the Self That God has willed to be our true Identity in Him. Today we smile on everyone we see, and walk with lightened footsteps as we go to what is appointed us to do.

In the analogy shared in today’s message, we begin our day’s “journey” with a full tank of spiritual fuel, remembering that authentic gratitude is the fueling station. When we pause to thank God – early and often – when we give thanks for the Divine that we are and that our sisters and brothers are, we access the true Power of Love, of Self, of Wholeness. Our direction for the day or the week or month ahead is established, and we set out from a place of fullness,

From Rumi, “When you do things from your soul you feel a river moving in you, a joy. When action comes from another part of you, the feeling disappears.” Invariably, we know, when we are “in the flow” of our true nature and when we are not. Heartfelt gratitude will gently set us back on the path God has given us to walk.

Our prayers of gratitude and love – for others, for ourselves, for places and conditions that “call” to us, are deeply effective when we pray from this fullness. Quoting again from the Lesson:

Thanks be to you who heard (the Voice for God-the Holy Spirit), for you become the messengers who bring His Voice with you and lets it echo round and round the world. Receive the thanks of God today, as you give thanks to Him.

We close this piece where we began, giving thanks for you and joining with you in giving thanks to our Father for His enduring and unconditional Love.

We Love You,

Rev. Steve and Mary
