Dear Spiritual Family

“This is Palm Sunday, the celebration of victory and the acceptance of truth. Let us not spend this holy week brooding on the crucifixion of God’s Son, but happily in the celebration of his release. For Easter is the sign of peace, not pain. A slain Christ has no meaning. But a risen Christ becomes the symbol of the Son of God’s forgiveness on himself; the sign he looks upon himself as healed and whole.”

Thus, begins Chapter 20 of A Course in Miracles which is entitled, the Vision of Holiness. No one is better equipped than our Wayshower to speak to the miracles that unfolded in the days following Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, climaxing in the Resurrection.

It was his journey and it is ours, not in the same form of course, but the journey that ultimately leads to the recognition of our Self as the Christ that God created. Concurrent in that understanding, we realize that there is absolutely nothing to fear – that what God creates is eternal and cannot suffer or die.

Over the millennia, there has been so much misunderstanding of Jesus’ life and in particular, his crucifixion and resurrection. The video message offered by us this week seeks to bring some of this “upside down” thinking into the light of Truth.

It may prove more of a leap for some than others – to be willing to let go of the old paradigm that so many of us have been raised with. Yet, if you’re open to it and we believe you are, simply ask Jesus or the Holy Spirit to help you find the peace and clarity that you may be seeking in this Holy Week. Jesus offers this: “This is the way to Heaven and to the peace of Easter in which we join in glad awareness that the Son of God is risen from the past, and has awakened to the present.”

We can’t think of a more fitting time to gift ourselves with this awakening and we wish it for you, beloved.

Happy Holy Week. We love you,

Rev. Steve and Mary

Going Deeper

  1. Can you share with the group any helpful insights that you may have gained from the video message?
  2. The teaching of ACIM affirms that God hears every heartfelt prayer. How does one “pray from the heart?”
  3. A thought for discussion – “The Son of God cannot be crucified.”

Happy Easter, Precious Beings.

We love you dearly,

Rev. Steve and Mary
